Located just steps from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, Hook It Up serves up crispy fried fish, succulent shrimp, golden chicken and perfectly paired chips in a casual, energetic setting. Requirements

• Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with guests
• Ability to provide efficient service while maintaining attention to detail
• Comfortable taking ownership of tables from initial greeting through clearing and reset
• Ability to accurately handle guest orders, payments and point-of-sale transactions
• Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• New Mexico Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
• New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit required when serving alcoholic beverages

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Check in with guests throughout their meal and respond quickly to additional requests
• Process guest payments accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures
• Clear used baskets, trays, dishes and other service items from tables as guests finish
• Wipe, sanitize and reset tables to keep the dining area clean and ready for incoming guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout guest-facing and service areas
• Communicate with the kitchen and other team members to support smooth, efficient service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol service requirements
• Assist teammates and support overall restaurant operations during busy service periods
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct supervisor, Executive Chef/Owner
