About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Restaurant Server to join their team at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Servers are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining clean tables, presenting menus, serving food and beverages, and providing an engaging attitude. This role requires someone who can be quick on their feet, make meaningful connections, and step up to ensure success. Requirements
- Engaging and welcoming personality
- Descriptive and able to sell
- 2-4 years of food service experience
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
- Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
- Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
- Understand menu details to enhance conversation
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Assist guests with concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
- Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
