The server must remain attentive to customers throughout their dining experience, adhering to or exceeding established service standards. Responsibilities also include completing restocking and cleaning duties, memorizing menu items and specials, maintaining cleanliness standards, controlling guest checks, processing payments accurately, and attending pre-meal meetings. The position requires responding to customer inquiries, presenting a professional appearance, and maintaining a friendly demeanor. The server must be able to handle customer service problems with tact and understanding, and perform other duties as assigned.
