About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and prior experience in the food service industry. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills.
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations.
• Actively engage in pre-shift to obtain a thorough knowledge of any events, specials, reservations, or dietary restrictions for the shift.
• Restock and clean as required, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes.
• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly greet them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests.
