About The Position

Ravenwood Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented Restaurant Server to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Servers will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Requirements

Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic understanding of restaurant service
Understanding of proper use of major kitchen equipment, polishing and setting tables.
Understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
English language and professional communications skills are required.
Ability to take complete direction
Ability to work in a team environment or alone.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high energy environment.
Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, clean and organized.
Organization and leadership skills
Commitment to provide quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws.
Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.
Behaves professionally and can be flexible in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and make recommendations when needed.
Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately.
Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions, accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Assist with setting up and breaking down tables as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Work as a team with other staff to ensure smooth service.
Can work jointly as well as independently with little supervision from management.
