About The Position

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive service to guests in a fast-paced dining environment. This role involves presenting menus, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, processing payments, and maintaining table cleanliness. The server will also assist with opening and closing duties and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
  • Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.
  • Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Professional appearance and polished demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
  • Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
  • Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
