About The Position
The Restaurant Server provides exceptional guest service, ensuring all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly. This role involves presenting menus, informing guests of specials and promotions, and verifying age requirements for alcohol purchases. The server must maintain updated knowledge of menu options, preparation methods, techniques, and ingredients, and communicate orders to the kitchen accurately and promptly. Additionally, the server will attentively listen to guests, anticipate their needs, collect used dishes, and deliver room service orders. This position also assists in upholding safety policies, supporting team members and other departments, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory within the department. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional guest service and ensures all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly
- Presents appropriate menus and informs guests of current specials and promotions
- Verifies age requirements are met for purchase of alcohol as needed
- Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients
- Communicates orders to the kitchen promptly and with accuracy
- Attentively listens to guests and anticipates any additional needs or concerns
- Collects used dishes and glasses from tables and other public areas
- Delivers room service orders as needed
- Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and appropriate inventories throughout the department
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
