About The Position

Levy is seeking a Restaurant Server for the Motor Bar and Restaurant at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, delivering items to guests, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Requirements

• Must already have or be able to obtain ServSafe Alcohol certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room and take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards, and following up to assist with additional needs.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests, and note preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and the ability to get along well with others, remaining flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information or complaints directly to a supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, keeping the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
