About The Position

This is a full-time, seasonal position for a Restaurant Server at Blue Mountain Resort. The role involves taking guest orders, processing them through the POS system, managing cash deposits, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Servers are expected to act as sales agents by up-selling and possessing thorough knowledge of menus, food, and wine.

Requirements

• Must have Smart Serve Certificate
• Minimum of one year of restaurant serving experience
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Previous POS systems experience an asset
• Reliable, punctual and professional in presentation

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders for food & beverage.
• Process orders using the POS system.
• Prepare accurate cash out deposits, responsible for any cash shortages and monitoring all guest bill folds to avoid walkouts and shortages.
• Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the dining room or off site location.
• Provide superior guest service.
• Act as a sales agent, using up-selling skills and be well versed in menus, knowledgeable in foods and wine.
