This position reports to the Restaurant Manager. A wonderful perk in serving a membership is the opportunity to provide personalized service and build great relationships. With over five outlets in our F&B department, there are opportunities for skill development and education.
Requirements
- Service orientation - comfortable helping customers with high expectations.
- Good communication skills - confident speaking with members, guests and colleagues.
- Problem solver - ability to understand and resolve issues.
- Ability to provide great customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
- Serving it Right certificate.
- Age 19+ for serving alcohol.
- Transportation to our location is difficult. Employees need ample time if relying on public transit or their own vehicles.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Taking and relaying food and beverage orders.
- Accurately entering orders in the POS system.
- Communicating with the kitchen.
- Serving food and beverage to members and guests.
- Checking on guest satisfaction.
- Handling complaints and concerns of members and guests.
- Providing food and beverage product knowledge.
- Using proper serving techniques.
- Practicing responsible alcohol service.
- Monitoring patrons for intoxication and arranging taxi service when appropriate.
