About The Position

We are currently seeking a part-time and full-time Restaurant Server for the Hilton Columbus/Polaris. This role involves engaging with and serving guests in our restaurant, 17 Arrows and Patio, by providing the highest levels of guest service. The ideal candidate will be available to work mostly lunch and dinner shifts, during the week and on weekends. As an associate, you will embody the vision to "Spread the Light and Warmth of Hospitality Throughout the World."

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Willingness to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must remain professional at all times.
• Treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances.
• Be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures.
• Willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones.
• Ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job.
• Ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests with the highest levels of guest service in the restaurant and bar, 17 Arrows (and patio!).
• Greet guests.
• Take orders.
• Utilize the Point of Service system.
• Deliver food to tables while displaying the highest levels of guest service and satisfaction.
