About The Position
Responsible for providing food and beverage service to customers in the Winner's Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma.
- TABC certification required.
- 1-2 years experience in dining and be knowledgeable of the sequence of service and typical dining room procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior to opening.
- Greet customers, present menus, inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings, make suggestions, answer questions and take beverage orders.
- Process food and beverage orders in POS system.
- Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner.
- Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer.
- Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions.
- Assist bus staff with stocking, removing and resetting dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed.
- Secure stations at end of shift, return all linens, condiments, dishes, glassware and flatware to appropriate areas.
