About The Position
The Hotel Saint Louis, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is seeking AM/PM and Bartender Servers to join their team. This is a part-time position focused on guest services (90%) and administrative tasks (10%). The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, accommodating special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and handling payments accurately. Additionally, servers are responsible for restocking, cleaning, memorizing menu items, maintaining cleanliness standards, managing guest checks, and attending pre-meal meetings. A clean and professional appearance is expected at all times.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a timely, outgoing, and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers
- Accommodate special needs and requests from guests and staff members
- Remain attentive to the customer throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to and exceeding service standards
- Receives proper payment from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
- Responds to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the telephone
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
- Memorizes menu items, recipes, and daily specials
- Maintains cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area
- Controls allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures
- Attends all pre-meal and departmental meetings
- Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times
