About The Position

WS Management is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-driven Restaurant Server & Banquet Support team member to help deliver exceptional guest experiences in our hotel restaurant and event spaces. This role supports both à la carte dining and banquet/event operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service with a positive and welcoming attitude. The ideal candidate provides outstanding food and beverage service, supports daily restaurant operations, and assists with banquet/event setup and execution. This position plays a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through excellent service, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items (up to 30 lbs.) throughout the shift
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-first mentality
  • Ability to handle fast-paced service environments with professionalism
  • Ability to follow processes, take direction, and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol
  • Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer applications
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of restaurant serving or food & beverage experience preferred
  • 2-4 years of hospitality experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and use proper serving techniques.
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per state/local regulations.
  • Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Follow all cash-handling and POS procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, server stations, and banquet areas.
  • Support event setup including table linens, place settings, service stations, and equipment.
  • Clear tables, replenish supplies, and ensure all food & beverage areas remain stocked.
  • Assist guests with menu questions, dietary needs, and recommendations.
  • Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and support a culture of cooperation and professionalism.
  • Perform side work and additional duties as assigned, including cross-training.
