About The Position

The Restaurant Reservations Agent will assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. This role involves maintaining cleanliness of work areas, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. The agent will read and visually verify information, enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, and exchange information with other employees using electronic devices. Additionally, the role requires engaging guests in conversation about their stay, property services, and local attractions, while adhering to all company safety and security policies and procedures. This includes reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The agent will welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation. Communication skills are essential, including speaking clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also key. The role involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None

Responsibilities

  • Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Exchange information with other employees using electronic devices (e.g., pagers and two-way radios, email).
  • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
