This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant, both in the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or janitorial role preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to maintain a fast pace in high-pressure situations.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in hot, humid, or wet environments and around cleaning chemicals.
Requires frequent bending, lifting, and use of manual cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly to maintain smooth guest flow.
Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to sanitation standards.
Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen and dining areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Take out trash, break down boxes, and manage recycling according to restaurant protocols.
Assist with restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and unloading deliveries as needed.
Monitor cleanliness of bathrooms, entryways, and other guest-facing areas.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures consistently.
Support other team members and departments as needed, ensuring a smooth operation from back-of-house to front-of-house.
