About The Position

Restaurant Partnerships, Sales, Business Development (Sr. Associate) Capital One Dining is seeking a dynamic Senior Associate, Restaurant Partnerships, to drive the growth and engagement of its exclusive dining portal. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a passion for the dining industry and a desire to serve as the "boots on the ground" for our sales initiatives. You will play a critical role in expanding our network of venues and ensuring the continued success of our existing restaurant partnerships. The Senior Associate, Restaurant Partnerships, will be responsible for the end-to-end support of our venue acquisition and retention efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to act as a representative of Capital One, engaging directly with target venues and managing the operational infrastructure that powers our restaurant partnership engine. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality operations
  • A passion for the dining industry and a keen understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple conversations effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with high-end restaurant partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the partnership cycle and adapt to changing market circumstances.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing business development team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality
  • 4+ years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Proven experience in a client-facing or sales-driven role
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Experience with premium customer experiences or merchant programs in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

  • Venue Acquisition: Proactively engage, pitch, and sign target venues to the Capital One platform to drive increased portal usage.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage the acquisition list, including intensive restaurant outreach to build a robust partnership funnel.
  • Retention & Renewals: Lead outreach and tracking for partner renewals, providing initial strategic recommendations for contract extensions to ensure long-term program stability.
  • Operations & Tracking: Maintain the conversation log and associated data, and oversee budget logging for the partnership team to ensure operational excellence.
