About The Position

The San Francisco Giants are looking for an Intern, Partnerships & Business Development, where you will have the unique opportunity to support both the Partnership Development and Sales teams within the department. In your role, you will be fully immersed in most partnerships accounts and support with the execution of sponsor programs including pre-game and day of game commitments. You’ll work closely with various departments across the organization including Marketing, Ballpark Operations, SFG Productions, Digital and Social Media, and others that help the team execute all aspects of our partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to be a confident communicator, work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends, learn quickly and be able to problem solve. This role reports to the Senior Account Manager, Partnership Development. This position will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be able to work the entire season (March - October) and have a flexible schedule to work all Giants home games, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced environment with the emphasis on meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Google Suite, and Canva
  • Establish positive professional relationships with Giants staff, fans and clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team environment and also take ownership of various projects and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Work directly and indirectly with fans and corporate partners to assist with requests and answer questions
  • Develop proof of performance presentations for all corporate partners
  • Partner with other departments to assist in the execution of partner assets including, promotional days, Fantasy Batting Practices, scoreboard features, and social media campaigns
  • Work with the Sales Team to research sales leads, create branded “mock-ups” and participate in proposal ideation.
