About The Position

Driven by our values and an innate understanding of our culture, the Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist and provide our guests with an exceptional and memorable dining experience that exceeds their expectations. This is achieved through the Restaurant Manager’s partnership and influence in the daily putting into practice our mission statement, in successful shift management, and through the ongoing development of our teams. Equally important and connected is the partnership with the General Manager (GM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), and Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) in overseeing the planning, organizing, training, and development of each individual manager and team member, as well as the shared achievement of stated objectives in finance, safety, quality and the cultural environment of the restaurant. This position will have partnership relationships with Kitchen Managers, Restaurant Managers, Catering Office, and Restaurant Support Center Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leads through service, supports and empowers the team, and demonstrates integrity, values, and commitment consistent with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Ensures a team and guest focus during each shift, demonstrating respect and loyalty to the entire team.
  • Acts as a partner and team player with Managers, Heart of the House and Front of the House Team Members to achieve common goals.
  • Partners with the General Manager and other Managers in coaching and leading teams through proper training, adherence to policies, and implementation of service standards.
  • Maintains all Points of Service by delegating to team members and communicating with fellow managers.
  • Engages with guests by continually touching tables to ensure expectations are exceeded and builds relationships with guests.
  • Partners with GM, AGM, and EKM in adhering to and holding the team accountable for Health Department and sanitation standards.
  • Understands all catering services and systems, and coordinates successful catering events.
  • Ensures all federal, state, and county legal standards for health, safety, and labor requirements are met.
  • Oversees keeping the restaurant clean, comfortable, and inviting.
  • Manages all shifts for safety, ensuring all safety policies are followed and holding the team accountable for breaches in safety standards.
  • Partners with managers and team members to guarantee food and products are consistently prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Supports the restaurant team in achieving objectives in sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses, and partners with leadership to correct deviations.
  • Attends all scheduled team meetings and partners in preparing schedules and conducting Weekly Manager and KM Meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Acts as a role model for business partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Implements brand strategy and initiatives, focusing on building long-term relationships with team members, guests, and vendors.
  • Executes high-level guest service to drive satisfaction and engagement.
  • Manages the restaurant team, including Heart of the House, FOH Team Members, and Caterers, in partnership with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Coaches and champions the restaurant team in revenue strategies, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement.
  • Maintains a cultural pulse on restaurant teams, serving as a role model and trusted partner with Operations.
  • Coaches, trains, and mentors team members, utilizing creative training tools for business development, loyalty, and upselling.
  • Operates effectively with minimal direction, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving ability and leadership.
