About The Position

Emmy Squared Upper East Side is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their growing team. This role is for a passionate and driven leader ready to advance their hospitality career. Emmy Squared Pizza is an upscale casual full-service restaurant brand with over 20 locations across the U.S., known for its Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

At least 1 year of restaurant management experience in a full-service environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with POS, scheduling, and reservation systems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Passion for food, hospitality, and creating great guest experiences
Physically able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
Able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, and reaching overhead

Nice To Haves

Experience with Toast and/or Dolce POS, scheduling, and reservation systems

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, ensuring FOH and BOH teams follow company standards and deliver top-tier service.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing staff development to build a high-performing team.
Be present on the floor, interact with guests, and address service concerns to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health department regulations.
Help manage labor targets and adjust schedules based on business needs.
Lead pre-shift meetings and team training sessions to maintain alignment and boost morale.
