About The Position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including enforcing sanitary practices, ensuring compliance with standards, managing staff, and handling customer service. This role requires strong leadership, culinary skills, and knowledge of restaurant management functions.

Requirements

  • ServSafe Management Certification
  • BOH/FOH management experience
  • Strong culinary skills, people skills, and organization skills
  • Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel)
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, personnel management, and customer service
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must agree to background check

Responsibilities

  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and company policies
  • Open and close the restaurant
  • Hire and train new staff members
  • Schedule shifts and assign tables to service staff
  • Resolve customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner
  • Conduct payroll activities accurately and timely
  • Ensure the restaurant adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Record all income and expenses and ensure cash registers are balanced
  • Perform all functions at the restaurant, including food preparation
