About The Position

Mama Kim Malaysian Fusion is a modern Malaysian-fusion restaurant focused on whole ingredients, bold flavors, and nourishing the body from the inside out. As the first U.S. location of a highly regarded Malaysian brand with 13 restaurants overseas, we are proud to bring a health-forward culinary experience to Greenwood Village. Located beside our sister day spa Jalan Facial Spa, our concept blends vibrant Southeast Asian traditions with modern wellness values. Position Overview The Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient team performance, and compliance with health and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-energy, guest-focused environment. The ideal candidate is organized, people-driven, and comfortable working alongside the team in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred)
  • Basic financial and labor management understanding
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Alcohol Server Certification (TIPS or equivalent) required

Responsibilities

  • Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure smooth service flow during all shifts
  • Maintain high operational standards across FOH service areas
  • Supervise and support FOH staff including servers, bartenders, bussers, and hosts
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching team members
  • Lead by example on the floor during service
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure every guest receives a high-quality, memorable dining experience
  • Maintain service consistency aligned with brand standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage products
  • Support cost control and waste reduction efforts
  • Assist with payroll tracking and labor management
  • Support budget adherence and expense monitoring
  • Track and report operational performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across all FOH areas
  • Support execution of restaurant promotions and events
  • Collaborate with leadership on guest engagement initiatives
