About The Position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for inspiring a healthy lifestyle by serving amazing food and smoothies with a bit of tropical fun! The primary focus of this role is to lead and develop the team, maintain exceptional service standards, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the café. This position requires strong leadership in driving sales, managing food and labor costs, recruiting and training team members, and maintaining a positive and productive environment. The Restaurant Manager will actively work in the café and be a hands-on leader.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, management, and team development abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn other systems.
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing team members into leadership roles.
  • Fully proficient in all café positions; willing and able to work in any role when needed.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train qualified Crew Members to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Lead each shift with a focus on goals, productivity, and positive team energy.
  • Maintain and adjust employee schedules as needed; step in to cover shifts when necessary.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to uphold brand standards and service excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations including food preparation, smoothie making, customer service, and cleanliness.
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
  • Conduct weekly food inventory and monitor reports to identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and invoice reconciliation for all products.
  • Utilize SynergySuite to meet sales goals, manage labor, and control inventory.
  • Oversee all aspects of cash handling, including safe counts and cash drawer reconciliations.
  • Review and correct payroll hours weekly; ensure timely submission for accurate paychecks.
  • Attend weekly calls, training sessions, and area meetings as required.
  • Analyze and interpret Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early mornings.
