The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines, managing labor and other expenses to budget, and the development and performance of FOH Assistant Managers, supervisors, and front-line staff. This role requires effective communication with leadership, front-line staff, support departments, and customers. The manager will be responsible for hiring, managing, and developing the food operations team, cultivating relationships with support departments, and ensuring appropriate information is disseminated to F&B staff. Collaboration with the marketing team on customer and team engagement plans, establishing performance and profit objectives for F&B outlets, and programming/updating menus and specials in Micros are key responsibilities. The role also involves the creation, implementation, and enforcement of F&B procedures, and setting and maintaining high standards for food quality, service, and overall culture. The manager must model integrity, service, and team engagement, and maintain open communication with Culinary, Stewarding, and Beverage Operations. Additionally, the position requires performing duties related to the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program and all other assigned duties.
