About The Position

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Restaurant Manager position. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily operations of the dining rooms and restaurants to ensure staff provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience. You will work in conjunction with other department managers, enforcing all policies including, but not limited to employee appearance, attendance and punctuality, service standards, and completion of job duties. This position requires the manager to be on the floor during meal service. You will also hold regular department meetings and drive employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment

Responsibilities

Monitoring and supervising the daily operations of the dining rooms and restaurants to ensure staff provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience.
Working in conjunction with other department managers.
Enforcing all policies including, but not limited to employee appearance, attendance and punctuality, service standards, and completion of job duties.
Holding regular department meetings.
Driving employee engagement and retention.
Being on the floor during meal service.
