About The Position

IHOP is seeking a hungry, humble, and smart individual for a full-time Restaurant Manager position. This role involves overseeing daily operations during scheduled shifts, providing staff support, and ensuring positive guest experiences. Key responsibilities include upholding standards, maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. The manager will provide employee feedback for development, ensure uniform adherence, and perform line checks for quality control. Staffing the unit appropriately through interviewing, hiring, and training is essential, along with conducting orientations. The role requires preparing end-of-shift reports (Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor controls, etc.) to manage company assets, preparing food production checklists, and ensuring proper recipe implementation. Ordering necessary products and identifying/addressing operational opportunities are also key duties. The manager has authority to approve discounts and must prioritize employee and guest safety and security.

  • Performing line checks in the galley throughout the shift to guarantee specifications on weights, temperatures, cleanliness, and organization
  • Staffing the unit appropriately
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training high-quality hourly candidates
  • Conducting orientations to ensure a positive start for each new employee
  • Preparing various reports at the end of each shift, such as Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor controls, and others, which ensure the control of all company assets
  • Preparing food production checklists
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of company recipes
  • Ordering food, small wares, uniforms, and other necessary products to maintain operational standards
  • Identifying operational opportunities and implementing plans to address them
  • Approving and signing all food or beverage discounts
  • Prioritizing the safety and security of both employees and guests
