About The Position

We’re seeking a dedicated Line Cook to deliver high-quality, inventive dishes in our New American fine-casual dining environment. You’ll bring consistency, efficiency, and a passion for seasonal ingredients and creative presentations—think modern takes on classics like tea sandwich plates, crème brûlée French toast, and refined comfort dishes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience (1–3 years) as a line cook or similar role in a fine-casual or upscale dining environment—New American or similar preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, baking), ingredient seasonality, and flavor pairing.
  • High energy, composure, and efficiency during busy service periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
  • A team player mindset with strong communication skills in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items—including sandwiches, brunch specialties, desserts, and New American small plates—with precision and consistency.
  • Plate dishes with care and attention to detail, ensuring every dish is visually appealing and tastefully balanced.
  • Work effectively during peak service hours, coordinating with back-of-house staff to maintain seamless service and quality.
  • Uphold the highest standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety, including proper storage and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with inventory counts and replenishment to support smooth, uninterrupted service.
  • Communicate clearly and work cohesively with line cooks, servers, and kitchen leadership to deliver consistent, on-brand dining experiences.
  • Handle service changes, assist with special requests or seasonal specials, and contribute ideas for menu improvements.
  • Performs other related duties.
