About The Position

The Kling House Restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Host to be the first and last positive interaction with guests, spreading happiness and creating exceptional experiences and lasting memories. This role involves timely greeting and seating of all guests, ensuring every guest feels welcome upon arrival and appreciated upon departure. The restaurant is part of Kitchen Kettle Village, a family-owned and operated establishment since 1954, with a vision of Spreading Happiness and a mission to Create Exceptional Experiences and Lasting Memories. Requirements

Ability to use restaurant computer system
Ability to work varied shifts
Available to work Saturdays and holidays

At least two Saturdays per month required

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a pleasant and professional manner
Systematically seat guests to appropriate sections of the restaurant and table number
Take reservations properly and ensure reservations are seated properly
Count and handle money accurately in the form of cash, credit cards, coupons, etc.
General housekeeping duties in FOH
Table to table visits to ensure guests satisfaction and to build relationships
Provide Village knowledge
Knowledge of lobby products and the ability to sell them
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
