About The Position
AKHIRE is recruiting for a Restaurant Host position in Sitka, AK. This role involves greeting guests, seating them at tables, assisting with take-out orders, and supporting other restaurant staff. The position also includes handling payments and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. The schedule involves shifts from 9 am to 3 pm or 3 pm to 10 pm, varying based on need and availability. Both temporary and permanent positions are available. Please note that the restaurant closes from December 20th to February 10th.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or server experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and show them to their table
- Assist guests with take out orders
- Assist other restaurant staff as needed
- Handles payments
- Assures smooth operation of the restaurant
- As needed, assist servers and cooks with questions
