About The Position
The Grill Room is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive first and last impression for our guests by maintaining a professional, pleasant, and helpful attitude while greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and fulfilling their needs.
Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work multiple phone lines.
- Ability to operate POS system.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile.
- Escort guests to their table and present menus.
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist.
- Understand the menus and cocktail service in detail.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Work in a high-volume environment.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Answer multiple phone lines and take accurate messages.
- Operate POS system to process payments and manage orders if needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area.
