Renaissance Milwaukee West, premium distinctive AAA Four Diamond hotel, is seeking a Restaurant Host(ess) to join our Restaurant Team in Eldr+Rime. Managed by Arbor Lodging, a leading hotel investment and management company with a growing portfolio of hotels throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. We have been entrusted by numerous partners and are approved managers for Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG. Our culture is people-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented. Summary: The Restaurant Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized first impression for all guests. This role manages guest flow, seating, reservations, and communication with the service team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a warm, guest-focused demeanor.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally

- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
- High school education or related experience
- Must obtain and maintain any required certifications

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating arrangements in accordance with restaurant standards
- Escort guests to tables and present menus as needed
- Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status, guest needs, and service flow
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure balanced seating and optimal guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries
- Provide accurate information regarding menu items, specials, and hotel facilities when appropriate
- Support servers and bussers during peak periods as needed
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward guests and associates at all times
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards
