About The Position

As a Restaurant Host Cashier you will provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff. You will greet and welcome each guest entering the restaurant, seat guests in the restaurant as per specified rotation requirements, and maintain proper seating and reservation documentation. You will also monitor restaurant for table availability, keep your designated working area clean and organized, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, including the cashiering area, as necessary or required, in accordance with established health and safety standards. Additionally, you will assist wait staff and bus persons in their duties as necessary or required, complete all assigned closing duties at the end of your shift, and promote current casino events and programs, providing guests with directions to all casino areas. Finally, you will thank customers, invite them back, wish them luck, and make it easy for them to get back in play.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists wait staff and bus persons in their duties (e.g., refills water glasses and coffee cups, helps pre-bus and bus tables, attends to guest needs) as necessary, or required.
• Completes all assigned closing duties at end of shift.
• Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
• Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck, and makes it easy for them to get back in play.
