About The Position
The Restaurant General Manager leads day-to-day operations of a high-end dining outlet, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong team performance. This role is highly visible on the floor, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and excellence while partnering closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and culinary leadership.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a line, supervisory, or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest satisfaction
- Solid understanding of food & beverage operations, including wine and beverage programs
- Experience with cost control, labor management, and basic financial acumen
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver exceptional, personalized guest service
- Maintain a visible presence in the restaurant, engaging with guests and resolving concerns promptly
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring flawless execution of fine dining service standards
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
- Partner with culinary and beverage teams to ensure product quality, menu execution, and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain restaurant facilities, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Support training, performance management, and team engagement initiatives
- Contribute to a positive team culture that drives collaboration and high performance
