About The Position

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is a senior business leader responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and operational excellence of one or more restaurants. This role operates with full ownership of the four walls driving financial results, developing talent, protecting the brand, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The RGM creates a high performing culture built with accountability, operational discipline, and hospitality while ensuring strict adherence to company standards and all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive restaurant leadership experience
  • 3+ years in a GM or senior restaurant leadership role
  • Proven success managing financial performance
  • Experience leading salaried managers
  • Liquor License certification is mandatory
  • Food manager certificate required
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Nice To Haves

  • High-volume restaurant or bar experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive full restaurant P&L performance for one or more units.
  • The RGM has full leadership responsibility for General Managers, Assistant Managers, Kitchen Managers, and all hourly team members, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Execute strategies that deliver sustained sales growth and P&L improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure LSM initiatives are being executed as directed.
  • Maintain oversight of labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs.
  • Ensure all financial, payroll, and administrative functions are completed accurately and in accordance with company policy.
  • Lead execution of all operational standards, food safety practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, polished restaurant environment aligned with brand expectations.
  • Identify operational gaps quickly and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing management team.
  • Provide clear expectations, consistent coaching, and performance accountability.
  • Build a leadership bench through proactive succession planning.
  • Foster an inclusive culture that promotes engagement, recognition, and operational pride.
  • Address employee relations matters promptly in partnership with HR.
  • Set the standard for hospitality and guest recovery.
  • Respond decisively to guest feedback and implement service improvements.
  • Create an environment that drives guest loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment and safety regulations.
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Maintain incident reporting protocols and a safe environment for employees and guests.
  • Translate company initiatives into executable restaurant-level strategies.
  • Partner effectively with Area Directors to properly execute all company standards.
