About The Position

The General Manager manages the day-to-day operations of Food & Beverage operations. This is a hands-on position overseeing all aspects of operations, including cost of sales, customer experience, and revenue growth. The role requires proactively solving problems and identifying new revenue opportunities while evaluating risk and reward in decision-making.

The position may also provide assistance with other Food & Beverage operations or projects within Suntex. Work performed may vary, and the posting describes the position as a guideline.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a restaurant manager, general manager, hospitality manager, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in restaurant functions including food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software.
• Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during the busy season.
• Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in an emergency.
• Must frequently perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements, and occasionally perform squeezing and overhead reaching.
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on property needs, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs and provide feedback to various areas.
• Develop menus and revise them as required.
• Manage financial reporting, including inventory, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist accounting with follow-up on daily operational items, including cash drop variances, credit cards, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Provide assistance as needed with other Food & Beverage operations or projects within Suntex.
