About The Position

Papa Gino's is seeking a full-time Restaurant General Manager to run the restaurant's operations. This role involves leadership and development of team members, sales building, community involvement, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. Requirements

  • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet essential functions of the GM position.
  • Ability to clearly and articulately communicate with team members and guests.
  • Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with all team members and guests.
  • Must be able to work 45-60 hours per week including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a High School Diploma.
  • Must have the ability to become certified in ServSafe and CPR.
  • Must have successfully completed formal management training classes provided by the Corporate Training Department.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operation of the restaurant within budget.
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with established standards in guest relations, food costs, labor costs, other controllable costs, safety, and sanitation.
  • Guarantee the production of consistently high-quality products by adhering to established standards for ordering, food handling, storage, preparation, portioning, and serving products.
  • Guarantee the highest level of hospitality and service to all guests at all times.
  • Train all team members in restaurant to adhere to company guest hospitality standards.
  • Handle guest complaints to successful resolution.
  • Supervise restaurant and delivery operations, personnel, and procedures to ensure maximum gross profit.
  • Adhere to and enforce company uniform and personal hygiene standards for both himself/herself and all team members in the restaurant.
  • Develop daily production, preparation, and inventory levels.
  • Oversee purchasing and ordering of food and beverages so that inventory levels are within company guidelines.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train hourly team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and recommend salary increases for hourly team members.
  • Administer discipline for all restaurant personnel when necessary, following company disciplinary procedures and documenting actions.
  • Prepare and maintain personnel records, team member schedules, and reports.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative and financial records.
  • Ensure that all specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established safety and sanitation procedures and all Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Train, supervise, and develop M.I.T.’s, Assistant Managers, and Managers.
  • Identify candidates for the management program among team member personnel and make recommendations for their development.
  • Ensure the restaurant is open and operating according to company established hours of operation.
  • Control all restaurant monies, adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
  • Develop financial performance objectives for the restaurant.
  • Assist in the daily operation of the restaurant by working in any station when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant and grounds as directed or needed.
