Requirements

  • Friendly, out-going personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time
  • Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts – including holidays, weekends, evenings, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and customers
  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise wait staff on the floor and provide guidance and assistance when necessary
  • Answer phones, assist with guests needs and take reservations
  • Complete daily & weekly checklists, aligning with resort operations & service standards
  • Maintain accurate menu knowledge, including food, liquor, beer, wine & cocktails
  • Assist with the upkeep of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness
  • POS knowledge & usage
  • Assist with training opportunities & holding the team accountable with leadership
  • Attend weekly meetings as part of your leadership role, including but not limiting to scheduling & forecasting with leadership for the team
  • Maintain an organized, clean, neat & professional workspace, including but not limited to your outlet & outlying areas
  • Adhere to SOPs, including but not limited to phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing & attendance, guest interactions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to remove roadblocks, create solutions & provide world class guest experiences, using methods like LEAP
  • Assist with using our RMS – sevenrooms for daily service, including but not limited to building accurate guest profiles contact information, preferences, information to create real life magic (anniversaries, birthdays, personal preferences, etc), the reservation process from taking a request to confirm to complete reservation
  • Perform daily huddles with the team, to provide quality information that is accurate & relevant to their daily service, including VIPs, reviewing & demonstrating service standards, checking resort knowledge, etc.
