About The Position
Join Our Team as a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installer! Location: Tempe, AZ. Company: Innovative Installations. Job Type: Full-Time. Requirements
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs with or without assistance and push 100 lbs across the floor.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment regularly and navigate construction job sites.
- Able to work variable hours, including overnight travel when required.
- Demonstrates mechanical skills and familiarity with construction equipment.
- Must have basic hand tools for daily activities.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Comfortable working outdoors, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, squat, climb, lift, pull, and push frequently.
- Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations.
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable under company liability insurance.
- Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card (Arizona).
- Strong interest in technical and mechanical work.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new skills and technologies.
- Basic English communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, stand, squat, and sit for extended periods.
- Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with blueprints is helpful but not required-training will be provided.
- Forklift Experience is a plus but not required-training will be provided.
- High school diploma/GED is preferred.
- 2+ years in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior installers in setting up and installing commercial kitchen appliances and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Apply fractions and measurements for accurate equipment placement.
- Help dismantle, relocate, and install kitchen equipment.
- Engage in training sessions to understand industry-standard practices and safety measures.
- Ensure accurate reporting of installations and services needed.
