About The Position

TEL Staffing is looking for a RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE full-time Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician to handle basic repairs and cleaning within a busy restaurant, in order to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for both customers and employees. This role combines both janitorial duties with light maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Must have previous cleaning (& basic maintenance) experience
• Must have at least a basic knowledge of general repairs and upkeep
• Must have the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be reliable & dependable
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be able to manage your time efficiently
• Must pass a routine pre-employment background check before starting work

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
• Conduct minor repairs on restaurant equipment, fixtures, and furniture (chairs, tables, etc.)
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and providing touch-ups & basic repairs
• Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies stocked & organized
• Perform regular inspections of the facility
• Ensure all work meets safety and health standards
• Report and/or fix issues as needed
