The Restaurant & Catering Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, sets up assigned bars, requisitions and stocks all necessary items, and maintains product quality. The bartender greets guests, takes and processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, checks guest identification, and detects and acts upon guest inebriation. Responsibilities also include handling cash transactions, securing the bank, performing general cleaning tasks, maintaining an attractive bar display, washing and sterilizing stemware, and performing other assigned duties.
