About The Position

As a Restaurant Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for guests. Your primary focus will be to support the waitstaff by promptly clearing and resetting tables, allowing for efficient turnover and a seamless dining experience. You will contribute to maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the restaurant, including the dining area and service stations. This role requires attentiveness to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating the needs of both guests and team members. Ultimately, your efforts will help create a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and enhances customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Basic communication skills to interact courteously with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the restaurant and hotel service areas
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout front-of-house and back-of-house areas
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and hotel leadership

Responsibilities

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests have finished dining.
  • Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or condiments, and responding to guest requests as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down chairs and tables, and disposing of trash properly.
  • Ensure that service stations are stocked with necessary supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to support smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
