Restaurant Associate
About The Position
Friendship is looking for a Restaurant Associate to join our Richfield Town Center team, located in Salem, VA. The Restaurant Associate will be responsible for the overall experience at the restaurant. Friendship offers diverse senior living accommodations, award-winning care, new and innovative services, as well as specialized rehab and therapy, to over 1,500 residents and patients each day. With four campuses, the earliest dating back to 1919, Friendship has grown to offer the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, home care, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehab, long-term care and Alzheimer’s and memory care. As a non-profit, Friendship provides a caring community to serve a wide-range of residents including those with limited financial means.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Six months of food service experience preferred
- food service certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet all restaurant guests, guide them to a table/seat and provide a menu
- Take customer orders; serve and clear food and beverages
- Check on guests throughout meal and address any issues that may arise
- Prepare check for meal and process payment
- Clean table after each guest leaves; clean any serving equipment throughout service and at the end of each shift
- Refill table items as needed
- Maintain work area, equipment, food and self, in accordance to policies, procedures and food safety guidelines
