This position is responsible for all aspects of the effective management of restaurant operations within a casino environment. The Assistant Manager will contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards, resolve problems, identify trends, and implement positive change. They will also coach, counsel, direct, train, and mentor the team to meet company standards, maintain ambiance, and ensure total compliance with all alcohol service policies. Additionally, the role involves ensuring Point of Sales Systems (POS) are in working order, auditing for accuracy of Payment Card (PCI) compliance, charges, and cash handling procedures, and maintaining a dependable work attendance record.
