About The Position

Sterling Restaurants is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager for a Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurant. The Assistant General Manager partners with the General Manager to operate the restaurant, develop team members, and deliver strong results while building their own leadership skills. The role involves supporting staffing and team development, leading restaurant shifts, maintaining hospitality and cleanliness standards, managing financial performance, and supporting business growth through catering, local marketing, and community relationships. Sterling Restaurants was founded in 2009 and operates nearly 90 Moe’s restaurants across seven states. Requirements

Previous restaurant experience.
Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of 15–25.
Strong communication, interviewing, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to hospitality, food safety, and leading alongside the team.

Responsibilities

Support staffing, interviewing, training, and performance reviews.
Provide Shift Leaders and Team Members with clear direction and ongoing feedback.
Coordinate people and priorities and lead alongside the crew during shifts.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized restaurant.
Uphold quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Resolve guest concerns with care and encourage guests to return.
Manage sales, labor, food costs, and profitability.
Support catering, local marketing, and community relationships.
