This role is for a Restaurant Assistant General Manager in a 100% scratch kitchen environment. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of every detail during each shift, aiming to exceed guest expectations. This includes providing direction, coaching, training, and development for team members on food quality, service standards, safety, sanitation, and company policies. The position also involves partnering with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant's financial performance, consistent execution of systems, inventory and cost controls, and the implementation of new company initiatives. The Assistant General Manager will also utilize the catering team to build sales and community involvement, manage team member and manager schedules to ensure optimal performance, and participate in the interviewing and selection of new team members. Daily administration, proactive planning, effective communication with all stakeholders, and prompt response to guest feedback are also key responsibilities. Ensuring the cleanliness and supply levels of facilities, following safety procedures, and providing a safe, professional, and harassment-free working environment are critical. The role requires the ability to handle multiple priorities, work under stress, and exercise good judgment.
