About The Position

Sterling Restaurants is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager for a Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurant. The role partners with the General Manager to operate a successful restaurant, develop employees, and build the Assistant General Manager’s leadership skills. The position supports staffing, interviewing, training, performance reviews, shift operations, guest service, restaurant standards, financial results, catering, local marketing, and community relationships. Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of 15–25.
• Strong communication, interviewing, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to hospitality, food safety, and leading alongside the team.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing, interviewing, training, and performance reviews.
• Provide Shift Leaders and Team Members with clear direction and ongoing feedback.
• Coordinate people and priorities to run effective shifts and lead alongside the crew.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized restaurant.
• Uphold quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Resolve guest concerns with care and encourage guests to return.
• Manage sales, labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Support catering, local marketing, and community relationships.
