About The Position

Jazzboline Restaurant & Bar is seeking a Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to support the team, connect with guests, maintain standards, and ensure smooth shift operations. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on creating an environment where expectations are clear, employees feel supported, and guests receive exceptional service. The role involves supervising day-to-day shift operations, leading front-of-house employees, coordinating with the culinary team, and responding to guest needs.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of related restaurant, bar, hospitality, or supervisory experience
  • A working knowledge of restaurant and food & beverage operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to coach, guide, and provide direction to employees
  • A guest-focused mindset with the ability to resolve concerns professionally
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain composed and engaged in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • A commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and quality service
  • The ability to work collaboratively with both front-of-house and culinary teams

Nice To Haves

  • Post-high school education in hospitality, food & beverage, business, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant and bar operations during assigned shifts, maintaining service, quality, and hospitality standards
  • Lead, support, coach, and develop front-of-house employees
  • Assist with training, scheduling, employee development, and performance management
  • Communicate with culinary leadership and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, coordinated service
  • Be present and engaged on the restaurant floor, supporting the team during busy service periods
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, comments, and service issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Help maintain an atmosphere of genuine hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Monitor shift revenues and assist with restaurant reporting and administrative responsibilities
  • Support restaurant systems and point-of-sale operations
  • Ensure restaurant, bar, service areas, and equipment are maintained according to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve restaurant procedures, service, and overall operations
  • Assist restaurant leadership with special projects and additional operational needs as assigned
