Responsible for developing, leading, and executing strategies for JLL’s Americas Responsible Procurement program. This involves standardizing the Responsible Procurement approach across regions, delivering environmental and social workstreams, and playing an integral role in the JLL Americas’ supply chain to measure and reduce emissions from Purchased Goods and Services in line with JLL’s Net Zero 2040 goal. The role includes creating and executing Responsible Procurement Standards to drive environmental and social performance at the category level, maintaining JLL’s Social Program as a commercially recognized platform, and ensuring compliance with ESG legislation such as local Modern Slavery Acts. Additionally, the position focuses on upskilling Sourcing and Procurement colleagues and suppliers, leading a team, building relationships across S&P and with the supply chain, and ensuring JLL clients’ needs around Responsible Procurement are met. The role requires converting high-level Global Responsible Procurement Strategy into tangible impact, influencing Responsible Procurement performance, and providing technical knowledge in supply chain context around carbon accounting, reduction strategies, category-specific strategies, supplier engagement, and human rights risk mitigation. It also involves aligning with the Americas Category Management team and suppliers on Responsible Procurement requirements, ensuring key suppliers understand and meet these expectations, and driving the integration of Responsible Procurement into the supplier lifecycle. Staying abreast of external best practices is also a key aspect of this role.
