About The Position

Provide targeted small group instruction through intensive interventions. This role involves implementing research-based reading interventions with fidelity, administering universal screenings, and maintaining accurate student data. Communication with parents, teachers, and other school personnel is a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of AIMSWEB and DIBELS assessments and data management
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Required criminal history background check and clearances

Responsibilities

  • Implement research-based reading intervention with fidelity to students.
  • Administer universal screenings.
  • Notify parents of reading intervention services.
  • Progress monitor using curriculum-based measurements.
  • Develop individual progress monitoring goals for reading intervention using growth-norm methodology.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ data.
  • Distribute student progress reports to teachers and parents.
  • Communicate with parents, classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other school personnel on a regular basis throughout the school year.
