About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a highly reliable and adaptable Response Security Officer. This role involves working at different locations and covering various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to fill in for call-offs, vacations, or when additional coverage is needed. The Flex Security Officer is a key support to the overall security team due to their flexibility.

Requirements

• Must be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) including weekends, as scheduling needs may vary.
• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
